Common Questions
Before reaching out, you might find answers to some frequently asked questions here. These come from real conversations we've had with prospective students over the past year.
When do programs start?
Our next comprehensive program begins in September 2025. We also offer shorter workshops throughout the year, with the next session planned for November 2025.
What's your teaching approach?
We focus on practical application rather than pure theory. Students work with real financial data and case studies from actual businesses. It's hands-on learning that builds confidence through repetition and feedback.
Do I need prior finance experience?
Not necessarily. Our fundamentals program starts with core concepts and builds from there. If you're comfortable with basic math and have curiosity about how money works in business, that's enough to get started.
How long does it take to complete?
The main program runs for six months with classes twice weekly. Students typically spend 8-10 hours per week including class time and practice work. Some finish earlier, others take a bit longer depending on their schedule.
Finding the Right Path Forward
Different situations call for different approaches. Here's how to figure out what makes sense for your specific circumstances.
Identify Your Starting Point
What's your current relationship with financial analysis? Some people come from accounting backgrounds, others from operations or marketing. Understanding where you're starting helps us recommend the right level.
Consider Your Time Commitment
Be realistic about what you can manage. Our full program requires consistent engagement over several months. If your schedule is unpredictable right now, shorter workshops might be a better fit to start.
Define Your Goals
What do you want to do with these skills? Some students aim to change careers, others want to understand their own business finances better. Your objective shapes which content areas matter most.
Review Program Options
Based on your answers above, we can suggest specific programs. There's no single right choice, and you can always adjust as you learn more about what works for you.
